The Hope of Pride

This is a small piece i found on my hard drive. Was written way back long. As a child I remember being told about justice, equality, and liberty of thought and expression. There surely were more good things we talked about. But since it’s been quite some time now, I somehow fail to recollect all of them. But I strongly remember the pride, I felt back then, of being part of such a wonderfully planned and extensively documented system of organized living. The concept of justice and equality irrespective of the what’s, who’s, how’s and where’s of ‘you’ seemed truly fascinating and even more inspiring at my tender age. Even better was the thought of liberty - to be and to let be. Back then it made me proud. Right now, it makes me think! I really don’t know if I’m moving in the right direction. Should I not have gone through the ‘thinking’ first? And then, as I got more involved with the tasks of livelihood, start feeling the pride? Well, let’s hope it’s just ‘me’ who is goi
