About the Author

Gemi Thomas has over 8 years of experience in the field of socio economic research and enterprise reforms. While working with Public Sector Restructuring & Internal Audit Board [RIAB], an autonomous body working directly under the Ministry of Industries, Government of Kerala, he has associated with international organizations like UNDP and ADB in bringing in reforms and development in the state level public enterprises. 

He later went on to pursue a Masters in Business Administration and later joined the World Bank where he worked on diverse projects in public reforms management, decentralization and gender issues.

 
He had a short stint as a trainer in the academic domain and also worked with an Event Management Company in Bangalore so as to stay connected with his passion.

In the year 2010, he joined Holy Trinity Vidyabhavan, a senior secondary school situated in Karthigappally, in a rural village in Kerala. The School caters to the educational aspirations of mostly middle income families of the coastal village. He now holds post of Director in this Institution.
